You’ll use yogic practices and gain a perspective in neuroscience to transform your relationship with pain. Experiential and evidence-based teaching strategies will encompass the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of pain. An integrative blend of Kundalini Yoga, meditation, and lessons are offered. You are encouraged to work through the course at your own pace, with support from Anne and your fellow students. Anne Novak is a KRI Certified Kundalini Yoga teacher and healer who specializes in the neuroscience of pain.  She combines degrees in physical therapy and hypnotherapy with a vast knowledge of yogic science and meditation. She currently studies energy medicine and silent communication with Mukeshanand Brahmachari. Anne’s teaching is powerful and insightful, combining a vast knowledge of the human body and a delicate grasp of the human heart. Her DVD “Radiant Health & Authentic Happiness” brings Kundalini Yoga to people all over the world.

Please check with your physician before starting this e-course. There are aspects of this course that do not require any physical activity – so you will gain benefit from many of the lessons in the course – but if your body is recovering from an injury, we do insist that you have permission from your physician to practice the yoga.

No. The yoga presented in this course is for all levels of yoga practitioners, from beginner to advanced. Any skill level will be challenged to learn and grow in their practice of yoga! Kundalini Yoga is known as the yoga of awareness – and by practicing you will be able to recognize your current limitations, and also recognize when those limitations are illusions that are holding you back.

Yes. We do require that you sign a waiver to before you start this course, and strongly encourage you to get medical approval from your physician before starting any yogic practice. It will be your responsibility to recognize when the yoga that is being shared is beyond your current physical ability. There are many components to this course – there are lectures from Anne that discuss pain from multiple perspectives, along with simple meditations that you can do – so even if you are in pain currently, there is plenty that you can learn from this course!
